Rumors Running Rampant Ahead of This Week’s Nintendo Direct Broadcasts

There are not one, but two Nintendo Direct broadcasts scheduled for this week (full details right here), so of course that means the rumor mill is chugging away at full operating capacity. The latest scuttlebutt comes from a new leaker who goes by the name of malo392 is alleging that there are a number of tantalizing projects coming down the pike. malo392 asserts that a 2D remake of Super Metroid, a new 3D Mario platformer, Star Fox, Nintendogs, and Wario Land games are all on the way. And throw some Mario Kart World DLC and, perhaps most exciting of all, a new Super Smash Bros. in for good measure.

Lending some credence to the puffy one’s claims is the fact that many of malo392’s predicitons have proven to be accurate. From the double Directs this week, to the Ocarina of Time remake, to Star Fox on Switch 2, and more besides, malo392 has been on the money with his claims… so far.
