I hope everyone enjoyed Spooky Games Week last week. We're kicking the post-Halloween season off with a bang. Tonight, on The Stevetendo Show, we're playing Tape to Tape, a roguelike hockey game that I have been playing on Steam for months. It recently released on consoles, and I have been playing it a lot on the Nintendo Switch 2. For those who don't know, a roguelike is a game that feels different every time you play it. It gives the player a different way to play each time and has different scenarios each playthrough.

For example, the speed-run team wants to win in the first period, whereas the sixteen-bit team has slower controls. It's interesting to see how different the various playthroughs are in the game. There is also a custom mode that allows you to create your own team. I haven't checked that out yet, but tonight might be the time. Set to go live at 6 p.m. POT/ 9 p.m. ET, join The Stevetendo Show for some Tape to Tape!

Shackers who want to join in on the fun can head over to the Shacknews Twitch channel, where you can tune into The Stevetendo Show every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

If you can't make tonight's show, you can watch Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET. The schedule is going to look a little different this week. We're moving Elden Ring up to Tuesday night. We're doing this because we're doing something special for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake coming out this week. Stay tuned for the details regarding a special Stevetendo Show episode for Ocarina of Time!
