Sowoorup aggressively pushed forward with a bio-mech army, quickly picking off Dragoons before pulling back to gain an advantage. Having lost numerous Dragoons to Sowoorup's harass and seeing his pocket Dark Templar tech yield little gain, DDaHyoNi transitioned into Carriers by dropping two Stargates and a Fleet Beacon. With Sowoorup's continuous Vulture harass followed by a ground timing push devastating DDaHyoNi's ground army, DDaHyoNi launched a counterattack with 4 Carriers produced from the resources accumulated from his early natural expansion. Having delayed Goliath production and range upgrades to prepare his ground timing push, Sowoorup lost most of his Tanks deployed at the natural to the Carriers and was forced to retreat.

As Sowoorup dispatched Vultures to harass expansions and buy time to assemble Goliaths, DDaHyoNi counter-attacked Sowoorup's main base and expansions with 6 Carriers.
